Millard Mack has been a member of the JCC for more than 20 years. Mack has been an active member of the community, having served as publisher of the American Israelite from 1985 – 1998 and president of the United Jewish Cemetery. He was also a board member at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
After undergoing open heart surgery, Mack worked his way back to health at the Jewish Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Center. When the center closed, he was referred to the Mayerson JCC to continue his health journey. Today, you can find Mack watching his granddaughter play basketball in the gym or walking the treadmill in the fitness area.
“I enjoy being here; the people are so friendly,” Mack said. “There are a lot of things to do and a great sense of community.”
