60 and Better

Think about if your parents or grandparents lived alone — hundreds of miles from you — and depended on a fixed income to survive. You’d feel better knowing that a caring, committed organization like the J was looking out for them.

Here, members can pursue their creative side with a paintbrush, sing with a chorus, practice Yiddish, or enjoy a game of bridge or mahj. They can take a day trip or see a show with us.

In addition, we offer discounted $3 meals for adults 60 and better, hot kosher luncheons Monday – Friday, transportation services, meals on wheels, Shalom Phone telephone reassurance, and on-site physical therapy.

No transportation? No problem! We’ll pick our members up, so they don’t miss a thing!

Through donations to the Community Campaign, the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati supports the services that allow senior adults in our community to fully participate in life at the J, including art, wellness, and computer classes; socialization programs; kosher lunches; and transportation to access all of that and more.

Certain programs also receive funds administered by the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio. Find out more here: HelpForSeniors.org.
