Today we woke up bright and early in the tent and drove to Masada. We got to the top just in time to see the sunrise and it was beautiful. We all took pictures together wearing our future college t-shirts and just had a good time on top of the mountain.
After a short water hike, we headed to the Dead Sea. I have never been to the Dead Sea and I was a little nervous. We applied mud all over our bodies and ran in. It burned a little but it was still such a cool experience to float uncontrollably and our skin was crazy soft. I grabbed some ice cream and we headed to our hotel for the night.
Once we all showered and cleaned up we went to the disco boat. It was so so fun! It felt like prom 2.0.
Today was extremely tiring but so so worth it! Can’t wait to meet our host families tomorrow!
