5 Activities for Kids in Cincinnati

Kids playing games

Are you looking for something fun for your kids to do in Cincinnati? The Mayerson JCC offers a variety of options for your kids to get out, be active, and make friends. You can find our most recent events and classes on our family classes and events page.

1. Pokémon Club at the JCC (Monthly)

Once a month, the Youth & Family program hosts a fun Pokémon Club event. Kids can learn more about the game, all while making new friends. Read more about the program in detail HERE.

2. Kids Night Out events (Throughout the year)

Kids Night Out events are a fun get-together for children to spend time with their friends. Each Kids Night Out is different. Some are movie or game nights; others are a trip to a trampoline park. No parents are allowed at the Kids Night Out events, so it’s a great time for a date night.

3. Chess Club (Monthly)

Enhance cognitive thinking and strategy skills while playing chess in an interactive and competitive atmosphere. No prior experience needed! Chess Club provides a casual environment in which students can learn and play the game of chess.

4. PJ Library events (Monthly)

While PJ Library send children’s books to Jewish families in the mail, there are also plenty of events throughout the year for everyone to enjoy. Some of the events include making ice cream, enjoying a day out at the park with family and friends, or tubing down the Perfect North Slopes hills. See some of the events on our PJ Library page.

5. Kids Classes (Ongoing)

The JCC offers a plethora of classes for kids to enjoy! They range from arts and crafts to theatre and music to coding and video games. Keep your child engaged and entertained while also learning something new!
