Under One Roof Archive

To celebrate the holiday of Sukkot, the Mayerson JCC constructs a community sukkah every year and invites organizations,  community groups and individuals to help decorate the large structure with their artistic interpretations and contributions to community conversation. This tradition began in 2013 and each year represents a specific theme that organizations and individuals can relate to and appreciate through art.

Thousands of people visit the JCC each year to view and engage with the artful panels, learn more about the holiday, and spend time together in the community sukkah.

The mission of the Under One Roof Sukkah Art Exhibit is to create community, connection, and conversation. The artworks and statements created and submitted are those of the participants; they do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the Mayerson JCC, staff, board, sponsors, or volunteers.
