Solar Sages: A Jewish Yente’s Search for Meaning After a Solar Eclipse
Nina Perlove is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan but has lived in Cincinnati for more than 25 years. She has a Doctorate in Flute Performance from CCM and her early adoption of YouTube earned her an international following and the nickname “The Internet Flutist.” She is Executive Director of the Foundation for Cincinnati Jewish Seniors and in her free time enjoys blending her love of Jewish culture and communal life with comedic storytelling. She describes her standup comedy style as monothematic, stream of consciousness, observational character comedy…with sing-a-longs and a shterai of yiddish.
Light appetizers and refreshments will be served during the show.

The Yamim Nora’im (Days of Awe) is a time full of beautiful rituals, inspiring melodies, and deep personal reflection. Join Rabbi Sammy Kanter for discussion and exploration of passages from the book This is Real and You Are Completely Unprepared by Rabbi Alan Lew. The book will guide us into thoughtful discussions about the meaning of the holidays, theological questions, and t’shuvah, the spiritual work of the season.
