Celebrate the holidays with us! From Thanksgiving to Purim, and even Mother’s Day, there’s many reasons to gather and share a meal at the J. In addition, we make plans about once a month to meet at a local restaurant to enjoy lunch together.

Protecting Our Elders
Facilitator: Hamilton County Prosecutors Office
Have you or a friend been a victim of elder fraud? Learn how to prevent Scams! Hamilton County Elder Justice Unit was established to protect senior citizens from fraud, scams, and financial exploitation. Too many of our Hamilton County seniors have suffered significant financial harm and emotional trauma from scams. Unfortunately, these crimes are under-reported because the victims are often too embarrassed to make a report or tell anyone.
If you, your loved one or someone you know has been a victim of a scam, fraud, or financial exploitation, you can call 513.946.SCAM(7226) for assistance.
The National Council on Aging estimates that 1 in 10 Americans over the age of 60 have experienced elder abuse.

Discussions with the Social Workers Grief 101: Caring For Yourself and Others
This workshop is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to navigate the grieving process, both for themselves and for those they care about. Participants will explore the emotional, physical, and psychological effects of grief. The program also offers insight into how to support others who are grieving, encouraging empathy and connection in times of loss.
Grief is a natural response to loss and can include a range of emotions such as sadness, anger, and confusion. It often follows a significant event like the death of a loved one or the end of a relationship. Grief is deeply personal and unpredictable, and there is no single “right” way to experience it.
Join us in community as we learn how to better support ourselves, friends, and loved ones.
