Archery

Sports encourage teamwork and enrich children's lives. At the J, there are several opportunities for both kids and adults to learn archery.

Overview

Kids in grades K – 6 will learn to shoot with recurve, compound, and long bows in this archery course. A Level 2 USA Archery Instructor will teach the archers how to aim and shoot on both a standard archery range, as well as, a 3D archery range.

Classes for adults will help archers shoot with a recurve, compound, and longbow on both a standard range and 3D range.

Youth Archery

Grades K – 6
Sundays
Fall 1: August 24 – September 28
Fall 2: October 5 – November 2
2:30 – 3:45pm | Mayerson JCC
J Members: $84 | Public: $110 

 

Youth archers ages 6-11 will learn to shoot both a recurve and compound bow on a standard range and 3D range in this 5-week program. Class will be led by a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor. All equipment will be provided. 

Adult Archery

Ages 13+
Fall 1: Sundays, August 24 – October 12
Fall 2: Sundays, October 19 – November 2
1 – 2:15pm | Mayerson JCC 
J Members: $15 | Public: $20 

Cost is per occurrence.
