May 3 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Give your kids (and yourself!) real-world tools while strengthening your connection as a family. In this interactive workshop, kids (ages 10+) and their parents will learn practical ways to stay safe, speak up, and support each other with confidence. Only children need a paid ticket. Accompanying adults should select the free ticket option when registering.
You’ll practice age-appropriate mental, verbal, and physical strategies in a setting that is supportive, engaging, and grounded in real-life scenarios. Just as important, you’ll build shared language at home so your child knows exactly what to do and who to turn to.
This Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) workshop is evidence-based and trauma-informed, using a simple framework kids can actually remember and use: Think, Yell, Run, Fight, Tell.
J Play will be available for children younger than 10 years old.
