In this charming sequel to Matchmaking (our 2024 Opening Night Film), we focus now on Baruch Auerbach, a mature Yeshiva student who missed every opportunity to marry. He serves as the devoted assistant to Malki, the beloved matchmaker, who continually tries to find Baruch his beshert. Only once Baruch realizes how much he has misinterpreted the circumstances of his life will his heart open to the love he deserves. Endlessly witty, visually rapturous, and sweetly romantic. But it isn’t just about finding love, it’s a tender, side-splitting celebration of clashing traditions and big-hearted characters, starring some of Israel’s most dazzling young talents.
