Chalk the Walk

In the spirit of art and community, and in the style of Rangoli art from India, this workshop offers an opportunity to decorate the J’s sidewalks and parking lot with beautiful art. Draw on the sidewalks and make designs inspired by Indian miniature painting, Rangoli art, and Siona’s original transcultural paintings. Participants will be given chalking materials and simple drawings from Siona’s art to use as inspiration.

Registration secures your spot in the workshop; walk-ups will be allowed if space is still available. The form below is for the 10:30-11:30am session.

The form below secures one individual square. We encourage groups and families to work together to complete a square! To reserve multiple squares in this session, please fill out the form for each square.
