Join your friends and others from the Jewish community in a new programming endeavor for adults ages 45 and beyond who want to engage with peers in dynamic, fun ways across Cincinnati. J Prime is for people who are in the prime of their life: parents with high school or college students, new empty-nesters, individuals or couples with adult children or without kids, recent retirees, and all others who are looking for active, creative, and social programming and events.

Mystery Shabbat

Off Site
Join us for a one-of-a-kind Mystery Shabbat experience with J Prime! You’ll be matched with a surprise host for a home-cooked kosher-style Shabbat dinner—location revealed two days before. Before dinner begins, all participants will join a shared Zoom call for candle lighting and blessings from their individual locations. You will be sent your Shabbat location and host on October 22 by 5pm! If you do not see an email by this time, please email Frannie Kahan at [email protected]. J Prime Volunteering

Give back to the community with J Prime. We have two volunteer opportunities available: Heldman Family Food Pantry10am – 12pm We will spend the morning volunteering in preparation for Thanksgiving week. Our activity includes maintaining the flower beds, so we will be outdoors. Ronald McDonald House8am – 12pm We will spend the morning preparing and serving brunch to the residents of the Ronald McDonald House near Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. More details about each volunteering opportunity will be emailed after registration. Made possible through a generous grant from the Foundation for Cincinnati Jewish Seniors.
