After School Teacher
The After School Teacher will be part of our After Crew team, working with children ages 5 and older and will be responsible for providing an environment that is positive and individualized. After Crew is a creative and caring after school community offered five days a week at the JCC, After Crew boasts a staff with training in child development, a safe and healthy environment and quality programming and administrative practices.
- Implement After Crew curriculum and activities

Infant Teacher
The Infant Teacher, working with children 6 weeks to 18 months, will be responsible for providing an environment that is positive, individualized, and cohesive to learning and encourages fun through play and exploration.
- Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation, learning, and fun.

- Education and Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is a plus.
- Maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications; Communicable Disease Training and Child Abuse Training.
- Keep abreast of current research and practices in early childhood education, and attend related trainings, workshops, and conferences.
- Attend mandatory professional development sessions, teacher meetings and family events.
- Versed with various educational areas such as music, art, science, literacy, mathematics, language development and physical development.

Afternoon Enrichment Teacher
The Afternoon Enrichment Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and educational activities for students in the afternoon enrichment program. This includes developing lesson plans, creating hands-on learning experiences, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment for students from ages 3 -13. The Afternoon Enrichment Teacher will ensure the safety of the students involved.

Assistant Aquatics Director
Arch Amenities Group, the world’s leading spa, fitness and leisure management firm, is seeking a full time Assistant Aquatics Director at the Mayerson JCC of Cincinnati. The Aquatics Assistant Director, under the direction of the Aquatics Director, will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the aquatics department; implementing policies and strategic plans for pool usage and staff management; pool and marina management and maintenance; training and supervision of staff; ensuring the highest levels of member satisfaction; and possess the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve goals and exceed member expectations.
Purpose
To support and oversee all aspects of the aquatic facility’s operations and aquatic programs, ensuring a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment for patrons and staff. The Aquatic Assistant Director is responsible for supporting the leadership team with strategic planning and day-to-day management of the facility. This role will also support in creating engaging and safe aquatic experiences for patrons of all ages and abilities.This position plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and ensuring high-quality participant satisfaction while maximizing the facility’s financial performance and community impact.
Aquatic Operations
- Support with and coordinate training for aquatic staff, including instructors and lifeguards
- Assist with conducting staff evaluations and report feedback to Aquatic leadership team
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the aquatics field
- Enforcement of all pool rules and regulations in a polite and courteous manner.
- Secures substitutes and fills holes in lifeguard schedule
- Maintain all chemical records, daily cleaning and safety checklists
- Balances pool chemicals to meet mandated levels/standards.
- Submits incident reports in a timely manner.
- Support and assist with ongoing maintenance: adjust feeders when necessary, check operations of pump and flow meter, vacuum pool, wash down deck and pump room, clean stainless steel and filters, record pool readings, etc.
- Display a professional appearance with appropriate dress/uniform.
- Ensures Aquatics Team Members provide a clean, safe, and friendly environment for the Members.
- Supports with maintaining all chemical records, daily cleaning and safety checklists

Aquatic Programs

- Monitor program quality and safety, assisting with implementing changes as necessary to improve participant experiences
- Teaches group and private lessons for 10 hours per week
- Support with marketing collaborations to promote aquatic programs and increase community engagement

Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role and a proven track record of successful team leadership
- Minimum of 2-3 years of swim lesson instructor experience
Qualifications
- High school education or comparable work experience
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding, and First Aid/CPR/AED
- Current Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator certification is preferred, but must be able to obtain within 90 days of being hired
- Water Safety Instruction and additional certifications in specialized aquatic programs (e.g., water fitness, coaching) are preferred
- Knowledge of aquatic facility operations and safety standards
- Proficiency in computer skills, including program management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution skills
- Commensurate with experience – Range: $18-$20/ hour, commission for swim lessons delivered

The ideal candidate is a seasoned early childhood educator and leader with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education, educational leadership, organizational development, or a related field. They bring 7–10 years of experience in teaching and leadership within a similar early childhood setting and have a demonstrated ability to guide educators, build strong teams, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.

Les Mills Bodypump Fitness Instructor
Arch Amenities Group, the world’s leading spa, fitness and leisure firm, is seeking a Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor and the Mayerson JCC in Cincinnati. The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing quality fitness and exercise programs designed to meet the needs of members, residents or guests.
Ensuring that a safe and healthy environment exists for exercising
Arriving to teach class in advance of the scheduled time to greet participants, answer questions and address concerns
Dressing appropriately for teaching exercise classes
Arriving well-prepared, music cued and routine thought out
Knowing the names of participants who attend your classes
Sharing educational information with your class participants
