Join us for Friday Flicks throughout the year! Movies are $1 at the door and in the 60 & Better Center. We have an exciting lineup of movies for your viewing pleasure each week, so check the schedule for what’s showing. Please RSVP for each movie.

An American Pickle

An immigrant worker at a pickle factory is accidentally preserved for 100 years and wakes up in modern-day Brooklyn. Directed by Brandon Trost, it features Seth Rogen, Sarah Snook and Molly Evensen. (1h. 28min., PG-13) 

Our Love Story (Almost Completely True)

A tall, aging “shiksa” icon meets a short Jewish leprechaun in a bird store – what are the chances? Written by and starring Mariette Hartley and Jerry Stroka and featuring Bernie Kopell. (1h. 32min., R) 

Resistance

Famed mime Marcel Marceau (Jesse Eisenberg) joins the French Resistance after witnessing the violence of the Nazi regime. Using his skills as a performer, Marceau helps transport children orphaned by the Holocaust to safety. Based on a true story. (2h., R) 

 

 

The Red Sea Diving Resort

Fisherman's Friends

A fast-living, cynical London music executive heads to a remote Cornish village where he’s pranked by his boss into trying to sign a group of shanty singing fishermen. Past Lives

Two childhood sweethearts, after decades apart, are reunited for one fateful week in New York as they confront notions of destiny, love, and the choices that make a life in this heartrending modern romance. The movie stars Greta Lee and Teo Yoo, and was produced and directed by John Magaro. (1h. 45min., 16+) 

Rustin

Bayard Rustin, advisor to Martin Luther King Jr., dedicates his life to the quest for racial equality, human rights and worldwide democracy. However, as an openly gay Black man, he is all but erased from the civil rights movement he helped build. (1h. 48 min., PG-13) 

The Holdovers

April 26 | 1pm
The Holdovers follows a curmudgeonly instructor at a prep school who is forced to remain on campus during Christmas break to babysit a handful of students with nowhere to go. Produced, directed, and written by Alexander Payne, the film stars Golden Globe winners Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. (2h. 13min., R)
