Our Adult Classes offer exciting and interactive programs that keep you active at every age. From sports to dance, language to learning, there’s something for everyone!

Fitness and Friends: Where Fun Has No Limitations
Ages 16+
Sundays, 1 – 3pm; J Members: FREE

This engaging adaptive class offers low-impact exercise, socializing, and creative crafts. Participants should be able to engage independently or with the help of their own personal care assistant. There will be no class on September 1, September 29, December 1, December 22, and December 29.. Field trips are scheduled for July 21, August 18, and October 6.

Adapted Total Body Workout
Ages 16+
Starts August 27; Tuesdays, 11:30am – 12pm; J Members: FREE

This inclusive adapted workout combines cardio and strength training in a circuit format, with stretching and yoga for a total body workout.

Adapted Basketball
Ages 18+
July 25; August 8 & 22; September 5 & 19; October 3, 17, & 31; November 14 and December 12, 7 – 8pm

In this exciting team-focused exercise class, participants will work on basketball fundamentals while socializing and being active. Participants should be able to engage independently or with the help of their own personal care assistant.

Adapted Zumba

No dance skills are required for this fun adapted class! Come enjoy this high-energy, low impact, dance-based group exercise class.

Adapted Water Fitness
Ages 18+ | FREE for J Members
July 18; August 1 & 15; 7 – 8pm

This adapted water fitness class offers fun low-impact exercise for J members who have physical or intellectual disabilities who are able to participate independently. Members should bring their own aid if they need assistance in the water.

Israeli Dance
Ages 13+
Tuesdays, 7:30 – 9:15pm; J Member: FREE; public: starting at $25

People of all skill levels are encouraged to join this class and take part in authentic, high-energy Israeli folk dancing. There is something for everyone – from popular Israeli dances to more advanced repertoire.

Our long-standing Men’s Softball League (modified fast-pitch) is one of the J’s most popular programs. Each 16-game season features an All-Star Game, League Tournament, Free Family Nights, and Awards Banquet.
